Liberty Tree Park

the home of Art in the Park

In 1989, PJWC presented the City of Plantation with this gazebo at Liberty Tree Park

In April 2000, PJWC undertook the brick project to replace the concrete walkways with Chicago bricks.  We are selling engraved bricks to underwrite this project.  Your participation is appreciated and you can own a part of Plantation forever.

In 2002, PJWC added the sculpture of children at play and base at Liberty Tree Park.

This scultpure was discovered by Judy Ackerman who purchased it on behalf of PJWC and who coordinated the creation of the base for it. This project took 2 years to complete.

Please join Plantation Junior Woman’s Club in enhancing one of the most beloved parks in the City of Plantation by financing the walkways in brick pavers.  If you’ve ever sat in the shade while your children giggle in the playground, held hands on a moonlit bench, walked through Art in the Park, had a birthday party or were married in the gazebo, you’ve left a part of your heart in Liberty Tree Park.  Please help us repay the cost of this improvement by purchasing a brick and engraving your favorite memory forever!

WE ARE STILL SELLING BRICKS TO BE INSTALLED PERIODICALLY; ALWAYS BEFORE ART IN THE PARK
